Did I Go too Far?
Art and the freedom of exploration has always been a part of my life. I was given the space to be creative and to explore. My talents have woven in and out of many mediums: Writing, Sketching, Pen and Ink, Fabric Art, Mixed Media and Photography. However, until recently I always felt I was dabbling, keeping to the kiddy pool and not stretching myself.
One of my favorite influences in Art always said, “You never know how far you can go until you go too far” Put in that one last stroke of orange it may take your sky from ordinary to brilliant or it may absolutely ruin it; either way you were willing to take the risk to achieve real ART. For years I’ve used this not only as a plumb line for ART but also for Life.
What or Who are you willing to give that last flourish of brilliance? The one you didn’t think you had? I know my answers.
